1) Read all labels. When you are at the grocery store, read every label before you decide to buy the product or not. Here are the things to watch for: High fructose corn syrup, glucose, hydrogenated oils of any kind. Also, check the fat content. The formula is this.. look at the total fat grams and multiply by 9. That will give you the total fat calories in the product. If the fat calories are more then 20 percent of the total calories, don't buy it!

Keeping your daily fat calories under 20 percent of total calories consumed will make your body burn not only more calories, but more fat as well. It will burn the fat reserves at this point.

2)Exercise! Okay, I know a lot of people really hate to exercise, however the fact of the matter is that you do not have to run miles around the track to boost your metabolism.
